Every Winter it snows in Boston, and every year people act surprised that it does. The lead story on the 11:00 news last night was the huge snowstorm we were supposed to get. "White stuff will be falling from the sky! Don't go out! The word will end!" The lead story in his mornings Boston Globe is MANY SET TO DO SNOW BATTLE. Fortunately, this early in the year the snow removal budgets are flush, and the snow is quicly dealt with. (At right, Convoq World Headquarters where the building management deployed a large crew to keep the walkways clear.)
This weekend the sun should come out and warm things just enough to dry out the roads and sidewalks, but leave a beautiful layer of snow covering what would otherwise be a drab, brown landscape.
